Welcome to your Electives Rotation at Children's National Hospital. We are a free standing facility but we also serve as the Pediatric department for The George Washington University medical school. There is a lot of material included on the Electives portion of this site. Please take some time to review what's available. Do not wait to get your questions answered.
The checklist below is meant to get you started with the information and material you should definitely know about.
Thing to Do: Go to...
- Everyone complete the PHI and Confidentiality statement Questions (New Rotators Only)
- Take the required training for your elective
- Create your CNID account or reset your password.
- Set-up Authenticator account (call the Help Desk - 202 476-4357
- Review the site map pf the hospital
- Visiting student - Upload your picture
- Submit your Flu verification and declination form if received elsewhere (between Sept and May)
- Review your elective material that is posted in our electives section (where and where to report)
- Read about the parking and transportation options.
- Pick up your badge from the badge office.
